Staff team and church leaders

We believe wholeheartedly in Every Member Ministering, and many of our regular worshippers are involved in ministry and service in the church, community, and further afield.

Rector: Rev’d Ian Birkinshaw

Ian sees his main role as being to help the church be the church. He is married to Adele, and has two adult children. Prior to ordination Ian taught English/Drama in secondary schools, and currently serves as chaplain to Riding Lights Theatre Company. 

Associate Minister: Phil Carman

Phil Carman joins us as our Associate Minister at the end of October.

Youth and Children’s Worker: Ruth Hills

Ruth's passion is to see young people come to faith in Jesus Christ. She is married to Alex, and has three grown-up children. In August 2009 she led the third parish team to Uganda with Food for the Hungry.

Parish Administrator: Jennifer Lucas

Jenni has responsibility for the day-to-day running of the parish office which is currently located at All Saints' church.

Parish Assistant: Mary Topley

Mary joins us at the beginning of September and will serve the parish on a part-time voluntary basis.
