Weekly worship

Worship at All Saints' and St Andrew's is evolving as we aim to offer services in a variety of styles which are accessible and relevant to members of the local community. Please check the weekly notice sheet for up-to-date information.

Sundays at 8.30 am

A quiet, traditional service of Holy Communion. Alternates between St Andrew's on 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays (Book of Common Prayer) and All Saints' on 2nd and 4th Sundays (Common Worship).

Sundays at 10.30 am: All Saints'

Worship with a mix of traditional and contemporary music, intended primarily for adults, though children are always welcome (a creche room, baby-changing facilities and playbags for under-5s available). Holy Communion on 1st and 3rd Sundays each month; Family worship and baptisms on 2nd Sunday; Prayer for Healing on 4th Sunday. Prayer ministry available every week. Refreshments served after the service.

Sundays at 10.30 am: St Andrew's

Family-friendly worship every week, where people of all ages can pray together, praise together, learn together, grow together, and have fun together. Contemporary music and lively Bible teaching. Holy Communion on 1st Sunday each month. Parade service 2nd Sunday. Baptisms 3rd Sunday. Prayer ministry available every week. Refreshments served after the service.

Sundays at 6.30 pm: All Saints'

Informal worship with an emphasis on building up the saints. Contemporary music, more in-depth teaching, learning to minister in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Holy Communion on 2nd Sunday each month. Parish prayer meeting (no sermon) on the last Sunday each month. Refreshments available throughout. Youth members leave for their own teaching after initial praise and prayer.

Tuesdays at 7.00 am: St Andrew's

An opportunity to start the day with informal worship and prayer for the parish and our city of York.  We are committed to praying for the city-wide 'More than Gold' mission 2012. 7.00 - 8.00 am.

Thursdays at 11.15 am: St Andrew's

A simple service of Holy Communion followed by a light lunch at 12.00 noon. Come and worship; come for lunch; come to both. A spiritual oasis in the middle of the week.
